What cookies are

Small browser records used by the site and selected providers

Cookies and similar browser technologies can remember a basket, keep an account secure, save a privacy choice or measure how the customer journey performs. Some are set by My Colouring Pad and others may be set by an approved provider.

Analytics and marketing technologies are not treated as strictly necessary. They remain off until you make an affirmative choice for the relevant category. You can refuse them without losing access to the creator or checkout.

Necessary cookies and device storage

Required for security, checkout and saved choices

These technologies are always available because the service cannot work reliably without them.

• WooCommerce basket and session. WooCommerce cookies such as woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_* remember basket contents and the anonymous session needed to connect a saved personalised project to checkout. Basket indicators normally last for the browser session; the WooCommerce customer session normally lasts up to two days.
• WordPress account and security. WordPress authentication, preference and security cookies support sign-in, account features, nonces and private customer actions. Session cookies end when the browser closes; a remembered login may last longer according to the account choice.
• Cookie preference. cbc_cookie_preferences_v1 stores Necessary, Analytics and Marketing choices for up to 180 days so the site can respect them.
• Creator and Media Library device storage. colourBookDraft keeps the book currently being edited in local browser storage. colourBookMediaLibrary stores a private library ID and secret access key so photos can be reused on the same device. The server library expires after 30 days without authenticated activity. Clearing browser storage removes this device’s access but does not remove a photo still needed by a saved basket book or order.
• WooCommerce Store API state. Local or session storage may preserve basket state and security nonces needed for checkout.

Analytics

Optional journey and conversion measurement

Google Tag Manager and configured Google Analytics tags load only after you accept Analytics. Events created before consent are discarded rather than sent later. The current configuration uses Google Tag Manager container GTM-N864BQC3.

• _ga. Distinguishes a browser for Google Analytics; up to two years.
• _ga_SVMQWBMWQ3. Maintains the configured Google Analytics session and campaign state; up to two years.

Permitted events may describe steps such as creator opened, permission recorded, sample ready, checkout or purchase. They do not include names, emails, recipient titles, photos, media URLs or private proof tokens. Analytics can be refused or withdrawn independently from Marketing. See Google’s privacy policy.

Marketing

Optional campaign measurement

Marketing tools load only after you accept Marketing and only while they are configured. Marketing consent is separate from Analytics consent.

WooCommerce order attribution is treated as Marketing. After consent it may set the session cookies sbjs_current, sbjs_current_add, sbjs_first, sbjs_first_add, sbjs_session, sbjs_udata and sbjs_migrations to record referral and campaign information. Rejecting or withdrawing Marketing removes these first-party cookies where the browser permits.

No Meta pixel is currently configured. If one is added, this policy will be updated with the provider, identifiers, cookies and lifetimes before activation. Customer photos, names, emails, book titles, media links and proof tokens are not sent in marketing events.

Change your choice

Use “Manage cookies” at any time

Open the persistent Manage cookies control, switch Analytics or Marketing on or off, and save. Necessary remains on. Withdrawing a choice stops future optional loading, attempts to remove the matching first-party optional cookies and refreshes the page.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking Necessary cookies or device storage may break basket, checkout, account, creator or private-project features. Withdrawal does not automatically erase measurements already lawfully received by a provider; email data@mycolouringpad.com if you wish to exercise a privacy right.
